A few years back, my fascination with essential oils led me to explore crafting products with top-notch ingredients. My goal was simple – to embrace a more intentional and natural lifestyle for my family. While I’m no expert, I started substituting daily products with wholesome alternatives, steering clear of mystery ingredients. Our soap-making process
Our recipes are brimming with a gorgeous blend of vegan butter and oils such as Shea butter, Coconut oil, Olive oil, Cocoa butter, Sunflower oil, and Castor oil. These ingredients give our soaps their luxuriously lather leaving your skin feeling nourished and moisturized. Our products are free from: Palm oil, Chemicals, Sodium laureth sulfate, parabens and phthalates.
In crafting our soap, we employ the traditional cold processing method, utilizing Caustic Soda, also known as Sodium Hydroxide or lye. This technique, called saponification, involves blending an alkali with natural oils and butters, transforming them into a high-quality soap bar. The unique aspect of cold processing lies in the preservation of naturally occurring glycerin, a gentle hydrating by-product.
Executing this old-fashioned method demands meticulous preparation and a curing period of 4-6 weeks. This dedication ensures not only the highest quality but also preserves the therapeutic benefits of our carefully chosen botanical ingredients. As a result, our soap stands as a testament to both craftsmanship and skin wellness.
